Steak marinated in Caesar dressing pairs perfectly with the salad.
Yield: 4 servings
4 | filet of sirloin or center cut sirloin steaks, 1/2 inch thick | ||

1 | cup | Caesar salad dressing, divided | |
|
|||
1 | package | Romaine hearts (3 ct), large outer leaves and base removed, leaves washed, separated and patted dry | |
|
|||
1 | cup | croutons | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | grated Parmesan cheese | |
|
|||
1 | pint | cherry or grape tomatoes, halved | |
|
|||
freshly cracked black pepper, to taste | |||
|
Place steak in a ziplock bag. Pour 2/3 of the salad dressing over the steak. Close the bag and place in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Remove steak from marinade and discard the marinade. Grill or broil steak to your desired doneness and let rest for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl toss the lettuce with the remaining dressing. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and croutons and serve alongside the steak and halved cherry tomatoes.
